Product Review: The Last Coat

I saw an ad for ‘The Last Coat’ online and thought I’d give it a try.

The marketing claims that the product gives a high gloss, smooth and protective coating “in half the time”.

It’s applied by spraying a small quantity onto a microfibre cloth, wiping on and then buffing off with a dry microfibre.

Time will tell how long it lasts, but after giving my VW and Tigger a treatment, it’s a really excellent result. They be sparkling.

I’ve used and tested a lot of different products on Harleys over the years, and there are several that work really well.

This one gets 5 stars for ease of application and quality of the finished result.

I paid $42 for the 473ml bottle on Ebay (delivered.)

I happily recommend it with a ‘subject to longevity’ caveat.

I used about 75ml treating the Golf, Tigger and a bicycle.

In fact, I was so impressed I just shelled out another fiddy to try their ceramic trim restorer and protectant, CeraTrim. We’ll see how that stacks up on Tigger’s ageing plastics when it gets here.

Some of the promotional gimmicks on their web site are a bit twee, but the product info is on https://thelastcoat.com
